What is Michael Cole's Net Worth and Salary?

Michael Cole is a professional wrestling commentator and former journalist who has a net worth of $4 million. Signed to WWE, Michael Cole serves as the play-by-play commentator for the Raw brand and the color commentator for the SmackDown brand. Earlier in his career, Cole worked for CBS Radio.

Early Life and Education

Michael Cole was born as Sean Michael Coulthard on December 8, 1966 in Syracuse, New York. For his higher education, he attended the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, earning his bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism in 1988.

Journalism Career

After graduating from Syracuse, Coulthard became a journalist for CBS Radio. His first high-profile assignment was covering the 1988 US presidential campaign of Democratic nominee Michael Dukakis. For the next presidential election cycle in 1992, he covered the campaign of eventual winner Bill Clinton. The year after that, Coulthard covered the siege of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. He went on to report on the Yugoslav wars in 1994 and the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. Coulthard returned to the presidential campaign trail in 1996 to cover the campaigns of candidates Bob Dole and Steve Forbes.

Professional Wrestling Career

In 1997, Coulthard joined the World Wrestling Federation. Using the stage name Michael Cole, he started out by doing voiceovers for promotional videos. That June, he made his first appearance onscreen in an episode of "Raw is War," and subsequently replaced Todd Pettengill as a backstage interviewer. Later in the year, Cole became one of the three announcers during the first hour of "Monday Night Raw," alongside Kevin Kelly and Jim Ross. After leaving the show in mid-1998, he became the regular play-by-play announcer for "Raw is War." In 1999, Cole became the play-by-play announcer for WWF's new SmackDown program. Following the WWE brand extension, he worked exclusively for the SmackDown brand. Although he was seldom involved in professional wrestling storylines, Cole did have brief roles in storylines with Heidenreich, Vito, and D-Generation X. In 2006, Cole's broadcast partner Taz left SmackDown, and was replaced by John Layfield. A couple years later, Layfield left to return to wrestling action with Raw, and Cole's new partner became Jonathan Coachman. Not long after that, Coachman was replaced by Mick Foley.

During the 2008 WWE Draft, Cole was drafted back to the Raw brand, ending his tenure as a play-by-play commentator for SmackDown. He went on to make his in-ring debut as Jerry Lawler's partner against the tag team of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, with the latter duo ultimately winning. In 2010, Cole became the lead commentator on the new show "WWE NXT," a position he held for the program's first three seasons. During that time, he turned heel for the first time in his WWE career. Also in 2010, Cole began a feud with Lawler. After the feud ended, he continued to wrestle, mostly favoring heels. Despite having served as a heel commentator since 2010, Cole showed his compassion in a September 2012 episode of "Raw" when his partner Lawler had a heart attack on the air. He continuously provided updates to viewers on Lawler's condition, and earned praise for his class and professionalism in handling the emergency. Cole went on to join in commentary during various "Raw" and pay-per-view events. In November, he hugged Lawler in the ring when Lawler returned to "Raw."

Return to SmackDown and Raw

In 2019, Cole returned to the SmackDown brand as a full-time commentator, appearing alongside former Raw commentators Renee Young and Corey Graves. Later, in 2021, he was joined on commentary by Pat McAfee. When McAfee was on break, Cole was joined by Wade Barrett. In the summer of 2023, Cole returned to the Raw brand as a commentator, alongside Barrett. Meanwhile, he continued his work with SmackDown.

Personal Life

Cole has been married to his wife Yolanda since 1987; they have two sons together. Beyond wrestling, he is a fan of the New York Jets, New York Mets, and Boston Celtics.

What is Kevin Nash's Net Worth?

Kevin Nash is an actor and retired professional wrestler who has a net worth of $4 million. Kevin Nash is known for his tenures with World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment, World Championship Wrestling, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. After starting out with WCW from 1990 to 1993, he became a WWF star under the ring name Diesel, winning the WWF World, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Championships. Nash went on to make multiple returns to WCW and WWF/E, winning further championships.

Early Life and Education

Kevin Nash was born on July 9, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan into a devout Christian family headed by Wanda and Robert. When he was eight years old, his father passed away. Nash was educated at Aquinas High School and then at the University of Tennessee, where he played basketball for the Tennessee Volunteers. Following a physical altercation with head coach Don DeVoe and a number of other on-campus incidents, he tried to transfer to Bowling Green State University in Ohio. However, Nash ultimately decided to leave school and move to Europe, where he played professional basketball for a variety of teams. His basketball career came to an end in Germany in 1981 due to injury. Nash subsequently enlisted in the US Army, and was stationed in West Germany.

World Championship Wrestling, 1990-1993

After working on a Ford assembly line and serving as the floor manager of an Atlanta strip club, Nash decided to become a professional wrestler. He made his debut in World Championship Wrestling in 1990, acting as one half of the tag team known as the Master Blasters. Going by the ring name Steel, he was first paired with Iron, and then with Blade. As Steel, Nash had his first singles match the next month. In early 1991, he was rebranded as the Master Blaster, a name he kept until May. Nash subsequently became the silver-haired Oz, and after that, was repackaged as Vinnie Vegas. With Diamond Dallas Page, he formed the tag team the Vegas Connection. In the first half of 1993, Nash teamed with Big Sky.

World Wrestling Federation, 1993-1996

In mid-1993, Nash joined the World Wrestling Federation and adopted the ring name Big Daddy Cool Diesel, or Diesel for short. The hyper-masculine, thug-like character began as the best friend of Shawn Michaels, with the pair going by the tag team name Two Dudes with Attitudes. The team went on to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship. A couple months later, Diesel and Michaels claimed the WWF Tag Team Championship. Their alliance ultimately fell apart after the Survivor Series, when Michaels accidentally performed a superkick on Diesel. However, Diesel bounced back toward the end of 1994 by winning the WWF Championship against Bob Backlund. In the spring of 1995, he retained his title by defeating Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XI. Diesel mounted further successful defenses against Sycho Sid and King Mabel. Reunited with Michaels, he then went on to win back the WWF Tag Team Championship, making him and Michaels holders of all three major WWF championships. Later, in 1996, Diesel turned heel and began a feud with Michaels. In what would be his last televised WWF appearance of the decade, Diesel unsuccessfully challenged Michaels for the WWF Championship.

WCW, 1996-2001

Nash returned to WCW in 1996, and with Scott Hall, formed the duo the Outsiders. They were soon joined by Hulk Hogan, and became known as the New World Order. With Hall, and eventually Sean Waltman, he became part of a new group in 1997 called the Wolfpac. The group was joined by a number of other wrestlers after that. In late 1998, Nash entered the 60-man, three-ring battle royal that was a staple of pay-per-view, with the winner receiving a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Starrcade. Having survived to the end, he advanced to Starrcade, where he won the World Heavyweight Championship from Goldberg. In the spring of 1999, Nash won the Championship for the second time by defeating Diamond Dallas Page at Slamboree. He subsequently started a feud with the returning Randy Savage. In the summer of 2000, Nash once again won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, this time from Booker T; he would later lose it to Booker T at Fall Brawl. Later in 2000, Nash aligned himself with Diamond Dallas Page to form the group the Insiders, and proceeded to win the WCW World Tag Team Championship at Mayhem. In the summer of 2003, he feuded with Chris Jericho and had to cut his hair after losing a "Raw" match. Nash had his final WWE match at SummerSlam in an Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Ultimately, he was the first to be eliminated.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

He subsequently began managing the Motor City Machine Guns, and then started appearing as the psychiatrist Dr. Nash. Later, in 2008, Nash joined Booker T, Sting, Scott Steiner, and Kurt Angle to form the villainous stable known as the Main Event Mafia. He went on to defeat A.J. Styles for the TNA Legends Championship at Victory Road, but lost the title three days later to Mick Foley. Nash reclaimed the title less than a month later by defeating Foley at Hard Justice. In 2010, he, Hall, and Eric Young won the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Nash announced his retirement from professional wrestling in October of 2010 upon the expiration of his TNA contract.

WWE Return and Independent Circuit

Following his departure from TNA, Nash made his return to WWE. Billed as Diesel for the first time since 1996, he took part in the 2011 Royal Rumble Match, where he was eliminated by Wade Barrett. It was announced that Nash had signed a five-year WWE Legends contract. No longer billed as Diesel, he returned at SummerSlam in August. Nash went on to resume his longstanding feud with Triple H. In 2012 and into 2013, he appeared on WWE's development training television show "NXT." Nash was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015; he was inducted again, this time as a member of the New World Order, in 2020.

In addition to his appearances in WWE, Nash wrestled on the independent circuit from 2011 to 2018. He appeared at the 2011 Gathering of the Juggalos, and in 2012 made his debut with All Japan Pro Wrestling, teaming with Keiji Mutoh. Nash was also briefly signed with Global Force Wrestling to help promote tours and events. In the summer of 2018, he performed in his final match, defeating Flex Armstrong for the Big Time Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. Nash later announced his retirement in early 2020.

Other Media Appearances

Layfield played college football and had a brief run with the San Antonio Riders of the World League of American Football before he became part of the Global Wrestling Federation. He debuted in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1996 with a gimmick of a cowboy/mountain man. He would brand his opponents with the letters JB after winning and soon joined The New Blackjacks. As JBL, John portrayed a rich, fiery businessman, a persona he developed when working as a stock market investor. He is a 24-time WWE Champion, won a Triple Crown, and claimed a Grand Slam title, and he has gone by nearly a dozen ring names, including Bad Santa, Blackjack Bradshaw, Death Mask, and Johnny Hawk. Layfield retired from the ring in 2009, but he serves as an ambassador for WWE. He has routinely appeared as a guest on "The Cost of Freedom" on Fox News. He is the author of the finance book "Have More Money Now" and hosts his own weekly radio show to discuss politics. John is a WWE commentator who hosted a web series with fellow analyst Michael Cole called "The JBL and Cole Show" on YouTube. He is also the senior vice president of Northeast Securities. He said on TheStreet.com that he was retiring from competition, and in his last column for the website, he wrote, "I have also come to believe that you can't fight father time. A broken back suffered in a match in England, compounded by a herniated and bulged disc, finally made me realize my career as a professional wrestler was over. He occasionally returned to the ring after this, and he won the Intercontinental Championship in March 2009. In April 2013, Layfield became a commentator on "WWE Raw," and in 2016, he returned to "WWE SmackDown." That year it was rumored that WWE commentator Mauro Ranallo left WWE because of hostilities with John. Ranallo later said that he and WWE "mutually agreed to part ways" and that Layfield had "nothing to do" with his departure. John released a statement that read, "Admittedly, I took part in locker room pranks that existed within the industry years ago. WWE addressed my behavior and I responded accordingly, yet my past is being brought up because of recent unfounded rumors. In this role, he was instrumental in convincing executives to better finance the WCW so that they could compete with the WWF, the World Wrestling Federation. He was also instrumental in signing Hulk Hogan to WCW and for, investing more money in production values and increasing the number of WCW pay-per-views. He also started a weekly live program on TNT called "WCW Monday Nitro" that competed against the WWF show, "Monday Night Raw." Bischoff remained an announcer on "Nitro," where he would regularly spoil the results of "Raw" to boost ratings. In 1995, WCW turned a profit for the first time in the company's history. By 1997, Bischoff's official job title was President of WCW.

Bischoff was also instrumental in encouraging the development of the New World Order, a group of wrestlers who were rebels in the world of the WWF but were also not under contract with the WCW. New World Order was depicted as a rival company engaging in a hostile takeover of the WCW. The angle grew increasingly complex over the weeks, drawing many new fans to the WCW. By 1997, the WCW overtook the WWF as the number one wrestling promotion in the country, with "Nitro" defeating "Raw" in the ratings by a wide margin for 83 consecutive weeks.

However, the WWF returned to its former glory after a rebrand with new superstars like Mick Foley, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the transition of announcer Vince McMahon into a character. In April 1998, WWF ended the WCW's ratings domination, which marked the start of the WCW's decline. By late 1999, the WCW began losing $5 million a month. In September, Bischoff was relieved of his management position.

In 2002, Bischoff was hired by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), which had been formerly known as the WWF. He was hired to be the general manager of "Raw" in a primarily on-screen role. Over the next few years, he was engaged in many on-screen dramas with other wrestlers and general managers. He remained in this role until 2005 when he was dramatically fired from the position after John Cena body-slammed him and Vince McMahon tossed him into a garbage truck. He then sat through a trial in which all of his unscrupulous actions were listed before he was driven out of the arena.

Over the next few years, Bischoff made sporadic appearances on WWE. In 2009, he helped negotiate a deal among Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Hulk Hogan, and himself. He premiered alongside Hogan in early 2010 in an episode of "Impact!" He remained on TNA until 2014. Bischoff later stated he overall did not enjoy his time with TNA and regretted working with the network.

In 2019, Bischoff began working with the WWE again as the executive director of "SmackDown." However, he remained in the position for only a few months before leaving. In April 2021, Bischoff was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Bischoff has had a lasting impact on the world of professional wrestling. He was instrumental in the creation of the New World Order, which played a major role in WCW's success and peak during the Monday Night Wars. Even some of his critics have credited him with bringing more attention to the wrestling world. Vince Russo, who was critical of Bischoff during the time they spent working together in WCW and TNA, has acknowledged Bischoff's tremendous contribution to professional wrestling.

Personal Life

Bischoff married his first wife, Kimberly Bowman, in 1979. They remained married until 1982 when they divorced. In 1984, he married his second wife, Loree Bischoff. Together, they have two children – a son named Garett, born in 1984, and a daughter named Montanna, born in 1985. His son Garett made his debut for TNA Wrestling in 2010 under the ring name Jackson James. He worked as a referee before later becoming a wrestler under his real name.

In 2011, Bischoff announced he started a brewing company in Cody, Wyoming. The company called their first beer the Buffalo Bill Cody Beer. In addition to his interest in beer, Bischoff has been a longtime fan of the jam band Phish and collects recordings of their concerts and other band memorabilia.

Wrestling Career

Sable made her World Wrestling Federation debut at WrestleMania XII in March 1996 when she escorted Hunter Hearst Helmsley to the ring as he took on the returning Ultimate Warrior. Her first major angle in the WWF involved her then real-life husband, who debuted as "Wildman" Marc Mero. The storyline started when Marc Mero witnessed Sable being mistreated by Helmsley backstage so Mero attacked Helmsley and took Sable as his manager. She remained Mero's manager until his injury in 1997.

Sable later had storylines in which she feuded with Luna Vachon and The Artist Formerly Known as Goldust. This feud climaxed in a match at WrestleMania XIV in March 1998. She delivered a superkick to Goldust and then released her famous "Sable Bomb" on Luna. She also delivered a TKO and pinned Luna to finish the match.

The same year, Sable and Jacqueline faced off for the newly reinstated WWF Women's Title in September. Jacqueline ended up claiming the title. In December of that year, she joined a new storyline in which she was attacked by a masked villainess named Spider Lady, who turned out to be Luna Vachon. She defeated Luna at the Royal Rumble after an assist from a planted female fan of Sable's named Tori, a WWF newcomer. Around this time, Sable had a character change in which she turned heel and developed an inflated ego after experiencing some success in Hollywood and mainstream pop culture. Around this time, Nicole Bass debuted as Sable's bodyguard. Over the next year, Sable would appear with Bass, often having her do her dirty work.

Behind the scenes, Sable was involved in a dispute with the WWF. In June 1999, she quit the WWF and filed a $10 million lawsuit against the company, citing allegations of sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions. After her WWF exit, she made an on-camera appearance as an audience member on World Championship Wrestling's "Monday Nitro." She also appeared on late night shows like "The Howard Stern Show" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."

In 2003, Sable returned to the WWF, which was then known as the WWE, in an episode of "SmackDown!" She played villainess roles and developed a storyline with Torrie Wilson. She then feuded with Stephanie McMahon in a storyline in which she was Vince McMahon's mistress. In 2004, she worked on a team with Torrie Wilson against duo Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackson during WrestleMania XX. Sable and Wilson were victorious. In August 2004, WWE announced that they had officially parted ways with Sable on good terms, as Sable stated she wished to spend more time with her family. She briefly worked with New Japan Pro-Wrestling from 2006 to 2007 before retiring from the sport for good.

What is Bianca Belair's Net Worth?

Bianca Belair is an American professional wrestler and fitness and figure competitor who has a net worth of $4 million. Bianca Belair began her professional wrestling career in 2016 and is one of two women to win at a WrestleMania main event. She holds a 420-day reign as Raw Women's Champion, the longest in the championship's history.

Early Life

Bianca Belair was born on April 9, 1989, in Knoxville, Tennessee, and was given the name Bianca Nicole Blair. Her father was in a band called Blair Brothers and her grandfather had been a professor and chairman of biochemistry at Meharry Medical College. She attended Austin-East Magnet High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she was a track and field athlete. She continued participating in track and field as a college athlete at three different universities – the University of South Carolina, Texas A&M University, and the University of Tennessee. She was named an All-SEC and All-American at the University of Tennessee and was named to the SEC's honor roll in 2011 and 2012.

Career

After finishing her university career, Belair became a CrossFit competitor and powerlifter. She was progressing in the sport until she had to abandon her CrossFit career due to intercostal chondritis, which she attributed to overtraining.

Shortly after the end of her CrossFit career, Belair entered her information into the WWE prospects database on a whim. Two weeks later, she received an invitation to try out for the WWE and did well enough to land a contract with NXT, the WWE's developmental brand, in April 2016. She made her first appearance during an in-ring segment at an NXT live event in June as Binky Blair. In May 2017, she made her television debut under the ring name Bianca Belair, taking part in a battle royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women's Championship. She was eliminated by Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. She then participated in the Mae Young Classic, defeating Sage Beckett in the first round before being eliminated in the second round by Kairi Sane.

In January 2018, Belair began an undefeated streak by defeating various competitors like Lacey Evans, Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, and Deonna Purrazzo. In April of that year, she made her WrestleMania debut by participating in the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34. However, she was eliminated by Becky Lynch. In January 2019, she ended her undefeated streak at 367 days after she unsuccessfully challenged Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women's Championship. In January 2020, she entered her first women's Royal Rumble match and eliminated a record eight other wrestlers before she was eliminated by Charlotte Flair. A month later, she competed in her final match in NXT, in which she again lost to Flair.

Belair made her main roster WWE debut at WrestleMania 36 and established herself as a member of the Raw roster. As part of the 2020 Draft, she was drafted to the SmackDown brand. In an October 2020 episode of SmackDown, she defeated Billie Kay and Natalya in a triple threat match to qualify for Team SmackDown at Survivor Series but she was later ultimately eliminated. In January 2021, Belair won the Royal Rumble match by eliminating Rhea Ripley, becoming the second-ever Black superstar to achieve this feat in WWE history after The Rock. At Elimination Chamber on February 21, she and SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks failed to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

On the following episode of "SmackDown," Belair challenged Banks to a title match at WrestleMania 37. On the first night of WrestleMania, Belair defeated Banks in the main event to win the SmackDown Women's Championship, making her first title in her career. She then retained the title against Bayley at WrestleMania Backlash and at Hell in a Cell. At SummerSlam in August, Belair was scheduled to defend her title against Sasha Banks, but Banks ultimately could not compete. She was replaced by Carmella, who was then attacked by Becky Lynch. Lynch then challenged Belair for the title. Belair accepted and lost the title in only 26 seconds.

The following year, her feud with Lynch continued. After winning the Elimination Chamber match in February, Belair became the number one contender for Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 38. On the first night of the event, Belair defeated Lynch to win the Raw Women's Championship. She retained her title against WWE official Sonya Deville on an episode of "Raw" a few months later. Belair would go on to retain the title for a record-breaking 420 days. She finally lost at Night of Champions in May 2023 to Asuka.

However, Belair regained the title by defeating Asuka and Charlotte Flair in a triple-threat match to win her second WWE Women's Championship. Then, just minutes later, she lost the title to Iyo Sky, making her second reign the shortest reign in history. In January 2024, Belair competed in the Royal Rumble and eliminated Jordynne Grace before being eliminated herself by Bayley.

Generally, Belair is known for her powerhouse wrestling style and is noted for her strength. She often uses the nickname "The EST of WWE," which she describes as being "the fastest, the strongest, the quickest, the roughest, and the toughest – emphasis on the 'est'."

Personal Life

On June 9, 2017, Belair announced she was engaged to fellow professional wrestler Kenneth Crawford, better known as Montez Ford. They married one year later. She became a stepmother to Crawford's two children from a previous relationship.
